The God Who Walks With Us
Reading: Genesis 3:8-9
Devotional: God did not create us for distance. He created us for closeness. In the garden, He walked in the cool of the evening not to inspect His creation but to commune with it. When sin caused Adam and Eve to hide, God did not abandon the search. He called out. That single question — where are you — was not asked out of ignorance. It was asked out of longing. God already knew where they were. He wanted them to know where they were. Today, no matter what you are carrying, God is walking toward you. Stop hiding. Answer Him.
Reflection: What has caused you to hide from God lately? What would it look like to stop hiding and simply answer His call?
Practical Application: Set aside ten minutes today in a quiet place. Speak honestly to God about one thing you have been avoiding bringing to Him. Do not polish it. Just bring it.
