September 6th Daily Devotions - Day 5

Reading: Acts 2:1-4 — Believers gather together in one accord and the Holy Spirit is poured out, marking the beginning of the church's witness to the world.

Devotional: The pastor recalled a woman who for 27 years walked the perimeter of the church in the early morning hours, praying that walls would come down. He recalled a pianist who played not just for the congregation present but for the prodigal in the balcony. These acts of faithful intercession created an environment where encounters with God became possible. Revival does not begin with a program. It begins with people coming into agreement, aligning their spirits, thoughts, wills, and actions with the mission and will of God. Your persistent prayer for someone who seems far away is never wasted. Keep praying. Keep believing.

Reflection Question: Who in your life are you called to intercede for persistently, even when you see no visible change?

Practical Application: Identify one person you have stopped actively praying for. Recommit to interceding for them daily this week. Ask God to give you faith to believe for their encounter with Him.
